Willem Jacobus Visser

Willem Jacobus Visser(Bill) passed away on 4/14/24 after a three year battle with Alzheimer’s/dementia. He was 77 years old.

Bill was born in The Netherlands and became an American Citizen on 12/21/82.  He loved living in Montana.

Bill had an amazing career at MT. State Fund.  He made so many lifetime friends and met and married the love of his life, Stacie.

He had a brilliant mind, speaking 5 languages and the ability to do any and all math in his head. His passion was playing Bridge.  He was a Silver Life Master and also made lifelong friendships.  He was funny, sarcastic and loving.

In 1999 he married his wife Stacie and got two children as a bonus.  He was an amazing husband and father. He truly loved being an Opa.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Jacobus and Elisabeth.

Bill is survived by his wife, Stacie, daughter Jaime Haagenson (Ben), son Joseph Sheldon (Tamara), grandchildren Izabella, Ethan, Atlas and Maya, sister Cora (Leen), nephews Ronnie (Karin), Richard (Liane) and Tom. Nieces Michelle, Anouck and Micky, and his beloved poodle Cinnamon.

No funeral, however a celebration of life and toasting with gin will be set at a later date.  Simple Cremation Montana assisted the family.
