Qulan Adrian Johnson (Bunka) passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on March 22, 2024.
Qulan was born on September 17, 1942 in Great Falls Montana to Bertha Nagengast Johnson and Raymond Johnson the first born of twins. He is survived by his twin brother Quentin Johnson, brother Cleve Johnson (Eileen), his best friend and beloved wife Helen, daughter Brenda, son Douglas (Jessica), son Scot (Francisco), and son Mathew (Kelly). Qulan was blessed with 10 grandchildren, Tyce, Alex, Nathanial, Grace, Kelsey, Braelynne, Loryn, Jaurdyn, Eli, and Cale. He became a loving great grandfather to 10 great grandchildren. He is also survived by two sister-in-laws and spouses, numerous nieces, nephews, and his close lifelong friends.
Qulan attended Catholic elementary and high school in Great Falls. He graduated from the College of Great Falls with a degree in psychology. He worked in data processing in banking,
as a systems analyst for the State of Montana, for a private contractor and for Blue Cross and Blue Shield.
He met the love of his life with the help of his friends. They married in June 1965. Qulan loved the outdoors, fishing, camping, and was an avid photo taker. He especially loved the summers camping with family and friends at Seeley Lake.
Family was everything and they will miss him so much.
A funeral is scheduled for Wednesday, March 27, 12:10 p.m., at St Mary’s Catholic Church with a reception to follow.
