Lorna Ellen Barry

Lorna E. (Ulsher) Barry of Montana City, MT died in her home, surrounded by her family on August 4, 2023. She was 82 years old. Lorna was born on October 27, 1940 in Helena, MT to Andrew and Mabel (TenEyck) Ulsher. She was the fifth of eight children.

She attended grade school in Basin, MT and graduated from Jefferson High School in Boulder, MT in 1958.

Lorna married Harold Barry on November 17, 1958 in Butte, MT. They were married 64 years at the time of her death.

In 1962, she began her employment at St. Peter's Hospital in Helena, MT and retired after 37 years. After retiring, she and Harold enjoyed many winters in Arizona.

Lorna is preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Mabel Ulsher, sisters, Katherine (Molly)Gill, Beverly Jessop, Arla Gasser, brother, Bruce Ulsher, daughter, Becky Benson, and granddaughter Karrah Barry-Dion.

Lorna is survived by her husband, Harold Barry, son, Todd Barry (Leslie), daughter, Vicki Barry-Dion (Wayne), son, Troy Barry. Grandchildren, Colin Barry-Dion, Keeley Barry-Dion, Shelbi Grove, Teagon Barry, Kahsiah Benson and Ethan Barry. Great Grandchildren, Braden Barry, Tilly Dion ,Brothers David and Andrew (Butch) Ulsher and sister Deniece VanDusen..

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Simple Cremation Montana, with a reception to follow.
