Leann Jordan Obituary

My mom was the best mother and grandmother we could have ever asked for!

Although it was just my brother and I, my mom was always a second mom to our friends and a bonus Aunt and grandma to many. She was a woman who advocated for those who didn't have a voice and was always a safe place for those in need. My mom was a single mom who never had much but always had an extra blanket, a warm meal and enough love to go around.

She loved her grandchildren (Piper, Jace, Lillian and Wyatt) with all her heart and what a blessing it was to watch her have so much joy and purpose becoming a grandmother. She was always there for her grandkids and loved taking them during the summer. They were always doing something fun like going to the lake and on adventures making memories. They loved going to the powwow, alive at 5, pizza ranch, picnics to the parks and pizza and a movie at grandmas. Her Grandchildren were her pride and joy and she was so proud of them!

My mom was the youngest of 6 (4 Brothers and a sister) and it showed as she was determined to have things her way all the way to the end. She was a woman who knew who she was in Christ and never wavered no matter how hard things got. She always knew God's plans were greater than her own and that God would use her no matter how good, bad or ugly things got. My mom loved with all of her heart and was always genuine, even when telling those she loved truth even if it wasn't what they wanted to hear.

She always knew who she was and had a big personality. My mom loved life and found joy in the outdoors and being in nature. When she was younger she enjoyed scuba diving, camping, hiking, dancing and horseback riding, gold panning photography and art, and if you knew my mom you know she loved Elvis and her Diet Pepsi.

For as long as I can remember my mom always looked forward to being with Jesus and knew our time here was limited and to make the most out of the time we have. We would have conversations of what we thought heaven would be like. I remember the first time my mom and I listened to Mercy Me “I can only imagine” we were both in tears and talked about how amazing that day will be. As we said goodbye to my mom, when Jesus took her home, I was reminded that she would have so many loved ones welcoming her to heaven. She would be in the arms of Jesus and with siblings, her parents and other friends and family an her daughter Loretta that never got the chance to see her love here on earth.

It has been bitter, sweet going through the loss of my mom. I never knew that Grief and Sorrow could coexist with Peace and Joy. I am comforted in the face that she loved Jesus and new where she was going when her time here on earth was over.  Simple Cremation Montana has assisted the family.
