Lawrence Edward Carle

Larry was born in Los Angeles, CA to Patricia Breslin and Kenneth Greishaber. He was raised in Idaho where he was adopted into the Carle family. During adolescence he was drafted into the United States Army Reserves at the end of the Vietnam war. He served three years and was honorably discharged. After discharging from the Army, he worked in the mining industry for approximately 40 years and retired in Alder, MT where he was known as Ol’Larry or Cowboy Larry. He will be greatly missed by everyone. In the end of life, he was taken care of by the VA Medical Center on Ft. Harrison. I want to thank all the hospital staff who made sure he was comfortable.

Larry is preceded in death by his mother Patricia Carle, brothers Bobby Carle, Forest Carle, and Hollie Carle, and his son Johnathan Carle. Larry is survived by his daughters and family, Tricia and Bill Cunningham of Butte, Candace Carle of Butte, and his grandchildren Angelina Cunningham, Amy Cunningham, Abby Cunningham, Kolton Baker, Paige Baker. Burial services will be held at the Mountain View Cemetery in Butte, Montana on July 15th, 2022, at 2:00 PM.
