With great sorrow and bittersweet gratitude, the Rose family announces the passing of Keegan Stephanie Rose.
Keegan was born on April 20, 1983 to Steve Rose and Laurie Mann at Fort Lewis, Washington.
She grew up in Townsend, Montana. From her early years until the age of twenty-three, she lived her life to the fullest. She enjoyed listening to music and hanging out with her family, especially her brothers and cousins.
Her greatest joy in life was becoming a mother to her three beautiful children; Dominick, Brayden, and Kaitlyn. Her compassion, humor, wits, stubbornness, and smarts shine through them daily. They will always have an angel watching over them as they navigate through life.
She is preceded in death by her grandmothers Kathleen Noble and Gail Rose and grandfather Herman Rose. She is survived by her father Steve Rose, mother Laurie Mann (Galen Mann), brothers James Rose Sr (Kim Hensley), Cody Rose, and Galen Mann Jr, children Dominick Schiable, Brayden Salveson, and Kaitlyn Salveson, aunts Jeannine Dundas (Rob Dundas), Lisa Wallace, Vivan Parks, uncle John Wallace, grandmother Sylvia Rose, grandfather Ernie Noble, cousins Stormy Westbrook, Tharen Dundas, Tiarra Dundas, nieces Jasmine Beeman and Jamie Beeman, nephews Joseph Beeman and James Rose Jr., best friend Jessica Cook, the Salveson family, and many more family members.
Keegan loved with all of her heart and will be truly missed by her close family and friends. She touched everybody’s life she came across and will never be forgotten.
On March 15, 2023, Keegan passed away from natural causes after suffering a brain aneurysm in 2006 that left her in an incapacitated state. Upon her passing, Keegan gained her wings and found peace in heaven, dancing along the way. The family would like to thank the staff at Big Sky Care Center for taking great care of their loved one for nearly sixteen years.
A public memorial service will be announced at a later date and held in the summer. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations made to Keegan’s GoFundMe. Proceeds will go toward funeral and memorial expenses.
