Obituary

Zach Allen, 22, of Helena, Montana, passed away unexpectedly on June 23, 2024. His tragic loss has left an immeasurable void in the hearts of all who knew him.

Born August 17, 2001, Zach graduated from Capital High School in 2020. At Capital, he particularly enjoyed the trade classes through the Career and Technical Education Department. Zach worked for Green Source Electric and was six months shy of obtaining his license as a Journeyman Electrician.

Standing at an impressive 6'9", Zach's towering presence was matched only by his equally soaring personality. His self-confidence and easy-going nature allowed him to connect with people from all walks of life, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met.

From a young age, Zach demonstrated an unwavering work ethic. Taking his first job at just 14, he quickly became known for his reliability, trustworthiness, and mature approach to his responsibilities.

Zach had many hobbies and pastimes, but found his true passions in hunting, fishing, and more recently, golf and running. He attended Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church and Covenant United Methodist Church and was beloved by both congregations.

Family held a special place in Zach's heart. As the youngest sibling, he embraced his role as an uncle with joy and dedication, forming strong bonds with his four nieces and three nephews. He spoke Spanish well enough to encircle his family members in Mexico with kindness and care.

Zach's generosity knew no bounds. He had a remarkable talent for gift-giving, always seeking out the perfect present to bring joy to his loved ones. This thoughtfulness was a testament to his caring nature and his desire to make others happy. Zach's memory will live on through the countless lives he touched with his kindness, his infectious laughter, and his larger-than-life presence.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Zach is survived by his mother, Kris Allen; Father and stepmother Robert C. and Maria G. Allen; Brother Chad (Jessica) Allen; Sister Carrie (Jake) Bernard; Grandmother Lois M. Allen; Grandparents Francisco and Guillermina Maldonado; Uncles Bruce Allen, Steven (Kana) Allen, David (Karla) Allen, and Daniel Allen.
