IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Vicki Lea
Biggs
September 10, 1956 – April 17, 2024
Vicki L Biggs passed away on April 17th at the age of 67. She was born in Honolulu, HI to H. Edward Biggs Jr and M. Nadine Biggs (Hart) on September 10th, 1956, joining older brother Ed as military kids. Not too much later, her younger brother Phil and sister Lori joined the family. Her dad retired from the Marine Corps after 20 years of service and moved the family to Helena. She loved Montana - maybe not the winters though. She loved books, movies, music, Christmas, and large family gatherings for the 4th of July, and most of all being an aunt. She was incredibly smart. Before the internet, calls were made when school help was needed. She lived life on her own terms. She gave with her whole heart. She loved spoiling her nieces - taking them for birthday weekends, rarely saying no to anything. She started shopping for Christmas in July and had all of her shopping done and presents wrapped before Halloween.
She worked for the phone company for over 20 years, having to retire due to illness. She loved her job and would have continued to work if her body would have allowed it.
Vicki struggled with her declining health over the last 20 years. She remained independent even at the end. It is hard to lose a constant in our lives but we take comfort knowing that she is no longer in pain and is at peace.
Vicki was preceded in death by her parents H. Edward Biggs Jr, mother M. Nadine Biggs (Hart), and sister Lori Felch and dear friend Susan. She was survived by brothers Ed (Sarah) Biggs and Phil (Liz) Biggs, nieces Racheal, Meghan, Shawnna, Brooke, Hannah and nephew Elijah as well as 11 great nieces and nephews.
At Vicki's request, there will not be a funeral. Her family will have a small, private gathering at a later date. Simple Cremation Montana has assisted the family.
