Terry L. (Wallace) Westlund was born in Pueblo, CO, on November 22, 1949. She was the first-born child of Thomas and Lenore (Sherrard) Wallace.She attended West High School in Billings, MT.She married Darrell E. Gabel in 1967 and they had three children: Edward Gabel, William Gabel and Tina (Gabel) Sant.She was a stay-at-home mom until she started her career in the restaurant business in 1975. She waitress and managed at different restaurants in the Helena area until she and her daughter opened up the TNT Early Bird Cafe on Custer Avenue in 2000.Terry loved to landscape, garden, fish and camp, but most of all she loved to spend time with her grandchildren, as well as working at her restaurant and visiting with her customers that were as close to her as family.She was preceded in death by her father Thomas in 1977, her mother Lenore in 1992 and her sister Jane in 2015.She is survived in death by her sons, Edward and William; her daughter, Tina; sister Lynne; brother Mark; and grandchildren Brett, Brentt, Trent, Aaron, Tristan, Derick, Shylyn, and Destiny.There will be a Celebration of Life for Terry on February 10 at the Early Bird Cafe 1001 Euclid Ave. between 4 & 6pm. The celebration is pot luck style so bring your favorite dish to share.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Terry's name to the Lewis and Clark Humane Society at lchsmontana.org.
