IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Teresa May
Romine
September 22, 1961 – June 24, 2024
Teresa May Romine, 62, of Helena, Montana passed into heavens gates June24, 2024. Born on September 22,1961 in Washington. Teresa lived a life full of love and dedication to her family and friends.
Teresa graduated from Bozeman High School in 1979. She did not pursue a college career. In 1983 she gave birth to her first child, Brandon Wheeldon and in 1985 gave birth to her daughter Jacindia Wheeldon. Her kids were her whole world, she gave them many memories including taking them camping and fishing frequently. One of her favorite places to go was Canyon Ferry Lake and the Hauser Dam. She also liked taking them to the fairground to feed the ducks.
Teresa met Bill Romine while a waitress at House of Wong's Chinese Restaurant, and it was love at first sight. She and Bill married August 29,1998 in Helena. He was the light of her life, her best friend, her rock. She found great joy in her family, always putting their needs above her own. Her home was a sanctuary filled with love and warmth. Teresa was a devoted mother and wife.
Teresa had a passion for adventure, whether it be traveling to ghost towns, lakes, museums, or visiting cemeteries. She never turned down the opportunity to learn and discover, a trait she passed down to her kids. Teresa was fun and living, she liked making people happy through homemade crafts, she loved cooking, and coming up with dishes that were from things right out of the pantry. She had a huge heart.
Teresa is survived by her children, Jacindia May Wheeldon (Plains, MT) and Brandon Gail Wheeldon (Goodyear, AZ), her beloved husband Bill Romine, and her children's father Roger Wheeldon. She was preceded in death by her mother Jean Sawyer, and her brother Karl Sawyer, both of Helena, MT.
A celebration of Teresa's life will be announced at a later date as the family is taking time to grieve the unexpected loss of their loved one.
"Teresa's light and love will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. Her legacy of kindness and selflessness will continue to inspire us all." Simple Cremation Montana has assisted the family.
