Shelley M. Picotte was born April 14, 1949, and passed gently, and without fear to her Lord on February 23, 2021. In that span she attended schools in Helena and Arlington Virginia, became a Debutante and Belle of Virginia and went to college at the University of Montana and Carol college. She was a lifelong and devoted member of this congregation, and for more than 40 years, was a passionate member of the choir. In 1970, she married Carter N. Picotte, and was the best and most loving of companions to the last breath she breathed.In her life, there were many trials, pains and injuries, in response to which she never gave nor took offense. Shelley never held a grudge, never passed up an opportunity to do or speak a kindness to those she knew, and even those she did not. Informed by her faith, she had an infinite capacity to forgive, and left this life with no slight unforgiven, and no need to ask leave or forgiveness of others. Hers was a life lived kindly, faithfully, bravely and well.
