Sheila Kay Sutton, 68, passed away at St. Peter's Hospital in Helena, Montana, Friday, 08 November 2024.
Sheila was born in Rush Center, Kansas, to Jerry and Elaine Horacek on Wednesday, 16 May 1956. She graduated in 1974 from Fergus High school, Lewistown, Montana.
On the 27 of December 1975, she married Samuel Sutton and were married until his sudden passing weeks before their 32nd anniversary.
Sheila worked at Bryant Elementary School, Capital High School, and Carroll College, along with venturing down her own entrepreneurial paths throughout her life. She cherished contributing to and experiencing the growth and development of Montana's future generations. Sheila was a passionate collector of antiques, reading, and loved hunting the bargain.
Sheila is survived by her sisters, Sherrie Williams (Sherman) and Sharon Connor, her two sons Scott Sutton (Kristin) and Shaun Sutton (Amy), and her grandchildren; Jaelyn, Sammi, Emili, Brigitta, Berit, and Boden.
Sheila was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Sutton, her brother-in-law Martin Connor (Sharon), and her parents Jerry and Elaine Horacek.
No services are planned per her wishes. In lieu of flowers, please provide any memorial contributions by contacting your local elementary school and paying outstanding student lunch accounts.
Simple Cremation Montana has assisted the family.
