On May 1st, 2026, Sharon Marie Fite (Rieman) passed away after a long-fought battle with a dual diagnosis of Alzheimer’s and Dementia.

Sharon was born on December 2nd, 1952, in Camdon, New Jersey. She spent her early youth taking care of her siblings and running off to pet the horses with her beloved friend Anna. Her father was a Doberman breeder which jump started Sharon’s love for dogs. She often told stories about the many dogs she had grown up with over the years, specifically her beloved Rene, Petree, Muffin, and Jip.

After high school, Sharon decided to head West. Finding herself in Montana, she would say the mountains ultimately convinced her to set up roots. In Montana she met many dear friends and family, including James Fite. James and Sharon had 2 wonderful children together, Renee and Brian.

Sharon worked for many dealerships over the years, doing title work before moving to the county motor divisions office to do more title work. She made many friends along the way and told stories of hot-rodding vehicles and giving all the salesmen hell.

Sharon enjoyed spending the majority of her time outdoors, hiking the M in Missoula nearly every day, and taking trips to hike to Morrell Falls. Even in her later years, you could find her walking laps and begging staff to take her outside for walks.

Sharon’s biggest pride and joy were her children and grandchildren. She was always so proud of Brian’s time in the coast guard; she would boast about how great of a Mother Renee is and how good of a man her son-in-law Brandon is; she would always talk about the accomplishments of her grandchildren Kinzie, Karson, and Kaydon, no matter how big or small.

Sharon was most well known for her sense of humor. She always joked about being small and invisible to the general public, however, those who knew her knew she was a spitfire. She could always be counted on for a sarcastic backfire, or to be the perfect butt to a joke. She couldn’t make a decision for anything, but she loved and cared for others deeply. She will truly be missed by everyone around her.

Sharon was preceded in death by her Mother Laura Reiman, Father Bill Reiman, Sister Diane Martinez, Sister Laura Reiman, and Husband James Fite. She is survived by her Brother Bill Reiman and Sister in-law Kathy Reiman, Brother Tom Reiman, Son Brian Fite and Daughter in-law Sabrina Fite, Daughter Renee Quintana and Son in-law Brandon Quintana, and Grandchildren Kinzie Karson and Kaydon Quintana.

In leu of services, the family will be doing a memorial at 10am on July 25th in Phyllis Washington Park located at the base of Mount Sentinel.
