Rick Allen Miller, 76, of Boulder, MT, passed away at his home on March 14, 2025.

Rick was born on May 4, 1948, to Cliffton and Helen (Pinkerton) Miller in Livingston, MT. Rick had two siblings, Sandra (Miller) Young of Missouri and Roy Miller of Livingston, MT.

He grew up in Clyde Park, MT on the family ranch. In the early years of grade school, he attended Sumner School on the lower Cottonwood Bench and later went to Clyde Park school.

Rick worked on the ranch until 1976 when he moved his family to Livingston, MT, and worked for Park County as a road grader operator. Over the years Rick did many things, including truck driver, log truck driver, and he owned his own backhoe business for many years in Helena, MT and Winnemucca, NV. Rick could do and fix anything and his last years were spent doing maintenance for Big Boulder apartments. He refused to retire but still made plenty of time for riding his side by side. He loved to be in the mountains and he and Connie put in thousands of miles riding in the mountains around the Boulder area.

Rick is survived by his wife Connie, of 58 years; his children, Cliff (Wim) Miller, Kris (John) Sutherland, Hope (Paul) Miller, Amy (Ken) Gray, and grandson Cameron Miller. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Rick is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Sandy (Sis).

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
