Patricia Ann (Donoher) Bogle, 87, of Clancy, Montana passed away peacefully at home on June 30, 2021. Formerly of Colorado Springs, CO, Patricia had recently moved to Montana to live with her daughter's family. Patricia was born on November 12, 1933 in Leadville, Colorado to Peter and Elsie (Herrmann) Donoher. Patricia was raised in Leadville and, as the youngest of 12 children, she held a special place in the hearts of all of her siblings and their families. She attended St. Mary's Catholic school through the 8th grade and graduated from Leadville High School in 1951. After graduation she went to work for the Stickley Insurance Agency then began working for Mountain Bell as a telephone operator in Leadville, in 1956. On April 7, 1962 Patricia married Thorville Blaine (Toby) Bogle in Leadville. They moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where their son Troy was born in 1963. Shortly thereafter, Toby and Patricia moved back to Leadville, where their daughter Tracie was born in 1964. After Toby and Patricia separated in 1968, she once again began working for Mountain Bell (later to become AT&T) as a long-distance operator and business office worker. Patricia's job led her to move to the Salida/Poncha Springs area in 1969 and then on to Denver in 1976, where she stayed until her retirement from AT&T in 1990 at the age of 57. Cooking was one of Patricia's lifetime passions. She loved sharing, discussing and perfecting family recipes. She was also an avid reader and she always enjoyed going to the library or thrift stores to find new books to read. Late in her life, one of her most valued possessions was her Kindle tablet, which gave her the opportunity to collect and read even more books. Patricia was a devoted fan of Days of Our Lives for many, many years. She loved all sorts of television dramas, but she had a special fondness for westerns and scary shows. Retirement allowed her to enjoy these pastimes, as well as freeing her to participate in the lives of her grandchildren by frequently helping to care for them and attend their many sporting events. In 1996, Patricia had a new house built in Colorado Springs to be closer to her children and grandchildren. Living in her new home, Patricia discovered a passion for gardening; growing beautiful roses, columbines, and lilacs - as well as planting a variety of annuals each year. She spent many hours on her deck enjoying her flowers. Additionally, her early retirement allowed Patricia to spend much of her time helping to care for others, including her sisters, Marie and Chickie, and brother John, as well as several friends, in their declining years. Patricia was always a selfless and giving person who would do anything to help others with whatever she had; be it time, gifts or money. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and brothers and sisters; William, Leonard, Clarence, Bernard (Barney), Peter, Kenny, John (Russel), Elizabeth (Betty Ruth), Shirley Jean, Marie, Evelyn (Chickie). She is survived by her son Troy and his wife Stephanie of Colorado Springs, daughter Tracie and her husband Thad of Clancy, Montana; grandson Austin Houdeshell, of Clancy, Montana, granddaughter Megan (Houdeshell) Hicks (Dustin) of Lewistown, Montana, grandson Dylan Bogle and granddaughter Madelyn (Maddie) Bogle, both of Colorado Springs.Also surviving Patricia are many extended family members, as she had many nieces and nephews and their families who she loved dearly. She blessed the lives of all who knew her and will be missed. Graveside services will be held at her family plot at the St. Joseph cemetery in Leadville at a date to be determined.
