Norma Socorro Liscano was known by loved ones as "MUCHA". She passed away on September 26, 2024, in Helena, Montana. She was 77 years old.

Norma was born on November 18, 1946, in Fresno, California to Raymond and Mary Armendariz. She married Edward Liscano, who preceded her in death. Norma enjoyed working at the Fresno VA Hospital. She especially enjoyed all the benefits of working there. She worked there for decades until she retired.

Norma was a big sports fan. She was a passionate fan of the San Francisco 49ers! Norma was often heard shouting at the TV "Kill 'em!!"

She also enjoyed attending family functions. She was known for walking in the room and saying, "Howdy, Howdy, Howdy!"

Norma is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Anna and Bob Hastings; her daughters, Valerie Salazar and Angelina Sandavol and her son James Liscano. Norma has 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Jean Arredondo and Reina Maldonado.

Norma was preceded in death by her sister, Elisa Blancarte and her brother Raymond "BOY" Armendariz, her godson Adrian Arredondo and her grandson Anthony A. Arredondo.

Thank you to everyone who helped with the care of my mother, Norma! Thank you, Donny, Nicholas, Dezmond, Adrian and Brayson, for spending time with her!   Big thank you to Analeah for EVERYTHING you did for your grandma!! Thank you, Diana, for ALL your help! Thank you to my husband, Bob, for EVERYTHING YOU DID for my mom, especially in the end!!  The biggest THANK YOU goes to my son Robert for all that he did for his grandma on a daily basis.  I could not have done it without you!!!

It amazes me how much you (Norma) impacted our entire household, in such a short time. Mom, we want you to know that we will ALWAYS LOVE YOU and WILL MISS YOU FOREVER!!!
