IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Norma Jean
Lemm
November 17, 1938 – February 5, 2024
Norma passed peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on February 5, 2024 at the age of 85.
Norma was born on November 17, 1938 to Maggie Barish and Phil Miller in Butte, Montana. Throughout her childhood she lived in many different places as her father followed construction jobs and finally ended up in Helena Montana. Norma met Robert Vulk when she was just 17 years old and they were married on October 8, 1955. The marriage resulted in four children although the marriage later ended in divorce.
Norma then moved to Washington and worked as a CNA. Sometime later she moved to Alaska where she met Howard Lemm. Together they moved back to Montana and settled in Columbia Falls. She married the love of her life, Howard, on September 8, 1995. She and Howard loved to travel around the country in their motorhome. After Howard passed away, she decided it was time to move back to Helena to be closer to her children. She enjoyed many creative hobbies such as crocheting, sewing, quilting and any other crafts she could get her hands on.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents Phil and Maggie, son Richard Charles Vulk, grandson Jason Eickmeyer, brother Lester Miller and two half-brothers. She is survived by her brother Loyde (Betsy), children Sandy, Michael (Teresa), and Jackie (William), 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, ex-husband Robert and many, many dear friends.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Norma's life will be held at a later date. Donations can be made in Norma's name to Enhabit Hospice at 2827 Airport Road, Suite B, Helena, MT 59601.
