Noreen "Renie" Marie (Mertzig) Lacey passed away at her home in Helena, MT on July 7, 2024.  Noreen was born in Anaconda, MT, on October 9, 1944. Noreen is survived by her sisters Mary Ann Schladweiler of Billings, MT and Mary Lou McPhail of Anaconda, MT. Ms. Lacey was predeceased by her parents, Louis Mertzig II and Mary; her brother Louis Mertzig III; and her husband of 18 years, Robert Lacey. In addition to her sisters, Noreen was survived by her fiancé, best friend and partner of 35 years, Clint Ohman; their furry friend Camelot; her nephews John McPhail of Anaconda, MT; Joseph (Anna) Schladweiler of Rapelje, MT; Louis "Chuck" Mertzig of Middletown, RI and her nieces Teresa (Ronald) Bare of Reed Point, MT; Yvonne Hecker (Scott Clarke) of Three Forks, MT; Debbie McPhail of Phoenix, AZ; Julie Mertzig and Shannon Garcia of Albuquerque, NM. Aunt Reen also leaves many great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.

Noreen and Clint loved spending time with their friends, camping, cheering on the Montana Griz, Cats, and Saints and with family including Clint's children, Jeffrey (MaryAnn) Ohman of Denver, CO; Creig (Edelene) Ohman of Boise, ID; and Trina (Lane) Wade of Missoula, MT and seven grandchildren.

Noreen was a graduate of Anaconda High School. She worked as a CNA at Anaconda Community Hospital and later for H & R Block and was known for her vast tax knowledge.

Services and burial will be at a later date.
