Michele Elizabeth Webster passed away peacefully in her own home on March 13, 2026, after a two-year battle (28 months to be exact) with ovarian cancer. She was 75 years old.

Michele was born on October 16th, 1950, at Henry Ford Hospital in Dearborn, Michigan. She grew up in Carson City, Michigan and graduated as valedictorian of the Class of 1968, from Carson City-Crystal High School. She went on to earn her degree in social work from Michigan State University, living most of her adult life in California and Montana.

Michele owned and operated a Montessori School in Helena, Montana, for many years and completed her professional career as a case manager for the State of Montana. She was known for her stubborn spirit, generous heart, and a deep love of the outdoors. She spent many happy hours gardening, hiking with her friends and dogs, baking her famous jumble berry pie and creating beautiful pottery. Michele was an amazing pianist with a passion for playing music and stories she’d share from her trips to Mexico were often met with an enormous smile. Singing and playing the keyboard with her granddaughter Bradley brought endless joy to her life. She approached her cancer diagnosis in 2023 with characteristic determination. You fought long and hard with cancer but in the most selfless way possible, not for yourself, not for us but just so you could have more time with your granddaughter and teach her the ways of the world. You taught us that you can be terrified and brave at the same time. She refused to let cancer define her final years and showed everyone what strength really was and we are so proud of her, but also appreciative of the beautiful time we got to cherish together as a family.

Michele is survived by her daughter Adrienne Wahl, son-in-law Brandon Wahl, son Brett Morehouse, daughter-in-law Suzy Williams, granddaughters Bradley and Lilyona, sister Becky Webster Davidson, brother Eric Webster and many nieces and nephews.

Michele is preceded in death by her parents, Miriam and Duane Webster.

A small private gathering will take place at a later date.
