Matthew David LaCourse went to be with his Lord and Savior Monday, May 19th, 2025 at Elkhorn Rehab Center in Clancy, Montana. Matt was one week shy of his 64th Birthday.

Matt was born May 26th,1961 in Helena, Montana and resided here in Helena his entire life. Matthew fought courageously with a neurological brain disease (PSP) for the last four years of his life.

Matt was loved and known throughout the community for the various retail jobs around town. Matt is preceded in death by his father, mother and two infant brothers.

Matt is survived by his brother Thomas LaCourse, sister Suzy (John)Koeppe, sister Karri (Kevin) Craig, niece Cookie (Rob) Kirkland, nephews Justin and Chad Koeppe and Miles Adams, great niece Chanda Kirkland, and great nephew Conner Kirkland, and many close friends and extended family members.

A celebration of life ceremony will be held at the Hannaford Street Bible Church, 830 N. Hannaford Street, Helena, Montana at 12:30 PM on May 25th, 2025.
