Mary was a generous, compassionate, hardworking woman. Mary attended the College of Great Falls in Great Falls MT, where she earned a degree in Biology. Mary was always sharing science facts with her family and friends. She also knew her way around a microscope and shared that knowledge with all who would listen. She even bought her eldest granddaughter her first microscope for Christmas one year. Mary was a dedicated mother to her three children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mary had a contagious laugh and was always the center of attention at family gatherings. Mary loved to go on mini trips with her family whether is it was a family picnic or a day trip to Giant Springs. Mary enjoyed church and had a beautiful singing voice. Her voice definitely carried the choir. Mary enjoyed reading, crosswords, and helping her granddaughter's with school projects. In Mary's younger years she played coed softball and had a great arm. Her position was catcher. There was never a time where Mary wasn't generous or willing to help her family, friends, and patients. Mary for many years worked as a certified nursing assistant, helping the sick and the elderly. Mary took care of many patients and made the patients and their family's her priority. Mary spread her care within the community of Great Falls MT and Helena MT. Mary retired in 2001 from her care giver duties but it did not stop there she helped with childcare of her last granddaughter Michaela and her first born grandson Bryson until they was able to attend school and preschool. Mary was always willing to give the shirt off her back to those in need, even if that meant she had to go without. Mary will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all that knew her. Mary will also be missed for her sweet smile and love that she put into everything she did. Until we see her again, may she be at rest. Mary we love you!!!! A small ceremony for family and close friends will be planned for a later date, spring of 2022.
