Obituary

Meg (Margaret Jean Beveridge) Schnaderbeck left the people she loved on this earth to join her Savior on July 1st 2025, after her battle with multiple myeloma for eight years. Meg was born as Margaret Jean Beveridge on April 29, 1967 in Helena, Montana to parents Marie and Charles Beveridge. She was the youngest of five children.

Meg grew up attending Helena schools - Central Elementary, Helena Junior High, and Helena High School. She took part in sports playing basketball, track, gymnastics, and volleyball. She continued with a few competitive sports in middle school and high school, but nothing beyond tenth grade. Meg graduated from Helena High School in 1985. After high school she attended Montana State University Billings for two years. She later finished her degree at Saint Martin's University on McChord Air Force Base, Lakewood, WA, in 1999 with a Bachelor's in Business Administration.

Meg performed work in the Forest Products Industry in Montana and in Washington State, and in healthcare administration. She met her husband John Schnaderbeck while working for Champion International Corporation, Missoula Timberlands Office where John was a Forester, and she was an Accounting Clerk. She and John were married for 18 years. Meg served in the United States Air National Guard for 10 years, 1989-1999.

Meg had a love for Glacier and Yellowstone National parks. She loved to climb mountains and hike in both parks, as well as mountains in Montana, and Washington. She participated in the Glacier Mountaineering Society from 2008 to 2013, and she climbed over 20 peaks in Glacier National Park. Her biggest mountaineering accomplishment was climbing Mt. Vaught in Glacier.

Meg worked for the Montana Historical Society and the Helena School District. She was also a member of the Saint Helena Cathedral. Meg will be remembered as a strong and courageous woman, who had a fighting spirit. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her, but she will live on in our hearts.

Meg is proceeded in death by her parents Charles and Marie Beveridge, her brother Edward Beveridge, her Uncle Wayne Krebsbach, her Aunt Audrey Pierce whom she was very close to, and both her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Meg is survived by her daughter Sarah, sister Mary, brothers Greg and Doug. She is survived by cousins Pat, Patti, Mike, Elaine, Brian, Demaris, Marlys and Fred. She is also survived by nieces Danielle, Gabby, Emily, and nephews Justin, Zach, Dillon, and Alex.

Meg and her family would like to thank the St. Peters Cancer Treatment Center and its staff for their numerous hours of excellent and compassionate care of Meg. They would like to also thank St. Peters Home Health and Hospice staff for their wonderful care. Appreciation also goes out to all of the other providers in Helena who have helped Meg and her family.
