Maret Hutchinson, Sharon Maret Finley, was born March 19, 1942 in Helena, Montana to William and Eileen Finley of Helena, Montana.  Both her parents were local podiatrists.

Maret graduated from Helena High School, attended the University of Missouri and then graduated from Montana State University in 1960.  She taught high school English and Spanish in Wilsall, Choteau, and Fairfield.  She married Lt. Edmond Hutchinson USAF in Great Falls in 1969.

Maret, her husband and son, Jay, went to the Washington D.C. area in 1971, where they remained until her retirement in 2002, and they moved back to Helena.

Maret is survived by her husband Edmond (Carl), her son Jay, her daughter in law Tammy and her grandson Sam.
