Lucinda Mae Parry (Cindy) of Helena, Montana died in her home surrounded by family and friends on Saturday May 23, 2026 at the age of 73 from peritoneal carcinomatosis and colon cancer.

Cindy was born Wednesday November 12, 1952 in Shelby, Montana to Israel Goss and Luella Flansburg. She was the oldest of four with two brothers and a sister.

She was a kind and gentle soul who loved and protected her family and close friends fiercely. She enjoyed life and loved being able to help and teach others the things she knew.

She took her joy and love of caring and helping with her to work. She enjoyed working with the public as it allowed her to meet and help many people. Some of her jobs included bartending, keno caller, state worker, and a deli clerk. She liked the fast pace that many of her jobs provided as well as the people and the stores she shared with them.

Cindy also had a deep love for animals and butterflies. She had many animals over the years and she shared a unique special bond with each animal.

Cindy is survived by her children Sunshine and David, her grandchildren Lila, Ryan, and Dixie, her great granddaughter Oakley, and her brother LeRay.

She was pre deceased by her husband Dave, her sister Donna, and her brother Myron.

Family is planning a celebration of life ceremony that will take place later this summer.

Cindy’s love of life and her joyful caring loving nature will continue to live on through family. She will be missed greatly.
