Lorna McCarl-Smith, 72, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 20, 2022 after a hard fought battle with pancreatic cancer.

Lorna was born in Helena, MT on September 30, 1949 to Harold W. and Leona Faulker- McCarl, the second of three girls. She attended Helena schools, graduating in 1967.

Lorna married and raised her family in Helena, and was a book keeper by trade. She worked at Tempo, and later at Capital Transfer for many years. In 2008, she started her own Cleaning Service and was working right up to her diagnosis.

Lorna loved spending time with her family, going to garage sales, and antiquing.

Lorna is survived by her two daughters, Kimberly (Otis) Davis of Birmingham, AL and Cory Nyborg of Helena, her four grandchildren, Tyrone Davis, Jeffrey Nyborg, Justin Nyborg, and Stephanie Davis, her two sisters, Claudia Lander of Helena and Ginger Evens,of Augusta, MT, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Lorna is preceded in death by her parents and two sons, James and Jeffrey.

No services are scheduled at this time.

Simple Cremation Montana has assisted the family.
