Obituary

Lillian Joyce Bailey Glineski Smith, 91, passed away peacefully surrounded by her sisters Susan Lane, Pam Bailey Fallang and Brother-in-law Ed Fallang on March 2, 2025. Joyce was a Montana Native who had lived in Helena all her life.

Joyce was born on Friday October 13, 1933, on the 13th Hour.

Joyce and her first husband Jack Glineski were married June of 1956 until Jack's death on September 1, 1976. Together they owned and operated The Helena Blueprint Company. On November 20, 1982, she married Jack Smith until his death July 8, 2011. Both were retired and built their home out by Canyon Ferry. Joyce lived in her home until her death.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents: Roy Bailey Sr and Lillian, Sister: Arlene Hunt, Brother: Roy Bailey Jr, Grandparents:  Ida and George Gotthardt, Spouses: Jack Glineski and Jack Smith, Brother-in-laws: Ed Naughten and John Lane, and her aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Joyce is survived by sisters:  Virginia Naughten of Great Falls, Susan Lane of Helena, Pam Fallang and Brother-in-law Ed Fallang of Helena, three stepchildren:  Debra Smith, Cindy Eccleston (Gary), and Brett Smith (Sharon), numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, great nieces, nephews and great nephews, her very special Sister-in-law Mary Jo Stoner, and her very special cat "Sadie".

Thank you to Hospice, her doctors, and special nursing staff, EMTs, and ambulance drivers of St Peter's Health.
