Kathy Lynne Tetrault was born in Helena, MT, on April 13th, 1961 to Kenneth and Emma Tetrault.

She passed away in her home surrounded by family on the morning of Monday June 2nd, 2025.

Kathy really enjoyed baking and many of us were blessed at Christmas with her homemade candies and cookies. She also loved playing games including cards, cribbage, Mahjong, and numerous computer and phone games.

If she wasn't playing she was catching up on her favorite soap opera " Days of Our Lives" which she followed for many years or watching movies with her friends and family. She also had a love for music, displaying her extensive collection of records, cassettes, and CD's. Some of her favorite artists include Queen, Fleetwood Mac, CCR, Kansas, and the Beatles. She also loved Christian music and also mentioned her favorite worship song was " This is The Air I Breathe" by Joe Mettle.

Kathy loved her family very much and was a huge animal lover and gave many animals a loving home over the years. She especially loved her Malamute Husky mix Sissy. Her dogs Bandit and Lady will surely miss her.

She had many fond memories and stories from her times working at Carroll College and the Smoke Jumper. While she worked 3 jobs at once at one point, she also struggled with major health issues and illnesses. She was born with 2 club feet, and traveled to the Shriners hospital for many surgeries to help correct them. She also continued to fight with Lupus and rheumatoid arthritis for 20+ years. Even with all of her ailments she was always a bright, positive and caring presence. Encouraging and helping people however she was able to. One of her cousin she called frequently said "she never complained".

Kathy is survived by her children: Hayley and Braydon Pennington, Bonus children Cheryl Young and Joey Pennington, Brothers: Ken (Monica) Tetrault, George (Irene) Tetrault, Sisters: Jean (Butch) Moran, Cherie (Fred) Clos. Numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.

She is proceeded in death by her parents Kenneth and Emma, Baby sister who was stillborn, Jay Moser who was a very close friend to the family and a father figure to Hayley and Braydon.

We believe she is now in heaven, completely healed and no longer in any more pain. Looking over us now as a guardian angel she always was in this physical world.

Her Celebration of Life and luncheon will be held on Friday, July 11th, 2025 at 1:00PM at JFK Park, 309 Harrison Ave N. East Helena, MT., 59635.

Kathy has requested that people wear fun colorful clothes, floral or animal print, or her favorite color purple!
