Karen Marie Murray passed away peacefully on March 4, 2024 after a long illness. She was born September 30, 1942 in Mahnomen, Minnesota. Known for her sense of humor and love of dancing, karaoke, and reading, Karen will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Karen's family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life, not the sadness of her passing. She is survived by her daughter Michelle (Urness) Harbosen and son-in-law Jon of Helena, MT; son Rhett Brown, daughter-in-law Amy and grandson Dreyden of Fircrest, WA; and brother Keith Johnson and his wife Jill of Minden, NV. Karen was preceded in death by her parents Frances Johnson and Gladys Brantner and son Seth Brown. A celebration of life will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Spokane Valley, WA June 14, 2024, at 10:00. The family will receive friends there after the service.
