Julian Arthur Theriault (Terry), age 90, passed away on June 15, 2025, surrounded by his family. Born on June 3, 1935, in Lemon, South Dakota, Julian lived a life devoted to service and community.
As a Veteran of the United States Navy and the Korean War, Julian served his country with honor and integrity. After his military career he became a wildland firefighter, ranch foreman, VFW post commander and Mayor of White Sulphur Springs, MT. Dedicating twelve (12) years to the small Montana town he loved so much.
Julian is preceded in death by his parents Milton and Minnie, his first wife Tommie, his wife Darlyn, brother Dennis, sisters Ruthie and Barb, granddaughter Shiloh, and stepdaughter Debbie. He is survived by his sisters Veronica and Carol, children Bill (Lorna), Quintin (Tammie), Milton, Wade (Kirsten), Amber (Tim), stepchildren Jim, Mitch, Connie, and Scott, as well as twenty-one grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
A public funeral service for Julian will take place at Mayn Cemetery, 4108 US-12, White Sulphur Springs, MT on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 2:00pm.
A private family service with military honors will take place at Fort Harrison in Helena, Montana on Friday, July 18, 2025, at 1:30pm.
