Jeanne Ann Ratzer (Mason), Of Helena, MT passed away peacefully at her home on November 23, 2024, surrounded by her family.  She was 92 years old.

A celebration of Jeanne's life will be held at a future time.  Burial Arrangements are by Simple Cremations (Helena, MT) and Fairmount Cemeteries (Denver, CO) where Jeanne will be buried next to her husband Erick, at a later date.

Jeanne was born on June 28, 1932, in Kokomo, Indiana, to Loren and Alice Mason.  She grew up in Illinois with her two brothers Jim and Bob.  She went to school at Evanston Township High School, Evanston, Illinois. She attended DePauw University in Greencastle Indiana and graduated with a degree in Home Economics in 1954.  She was a proud member of her sorority, Kappa, Alpha Theta.  She married her college sweetheart Erick Robert Ratzer on June 12, 1954 in Evanston, Illinois.  They lived in Washington DC while Erick attended Medical School at George Washington University, then moved to Denver, CO for Erick's Residency and then moved to Pelham Manor NY so Erick could do an additional Residency.  They settled in Littleton, CO where they raised their six children.  Jeanne lived there for 56 years.

Jeanne enjoyed quilting, crafting, skiing, golf, and loved doing jigsaw puzzles (300 large piece only!).

After Erick died in 2017, Jeanne continued to live in Colorado at Morning Star at Ridgegate, a retirement community in Lone Tree Colorado until February 2022.  Jeanne then moved to Touchmark Assisted Living in Helena, Montana to be closer to her daughter Elizabeth who helped her until her death.

Jeanne is survived by her 6 children Sarah (Damon) Endicott of Ackworth, GA; Bob (MaryEllen) Ratzer of Sandia Park, NM; Elizabeth (Jim) Taflan of Helena, MT; Barbara (Kenny) Anderson of Kremmling, CO; Richard (Michelle) Ratzer of Norfolk, VA; and Philip (Jane) Ratzer of Spokane, WA, 15 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren.
