Obituary

Ingrid Inman, born on June 20, 1943 in Munich, Germany, was called home to be with our Lord on May 9, 2024 after a 5-year brave battle with cancer at home surrounded by her loving husband Patrick J Inman and Carie Lee Kirk.  Thank you to Stacie Hanes who Ingrid loved as a daughter and who spent endless hours taking care of Ingrid in her time of need.  To Connor, the 1889 crew, Roger, Bob, Cindy and the Hospice personnel who helped Pat take good care of Ingrid.

Ingrid worked as a Licensed Practitioner Nurse at Kaiser Permanente in Vancouver, WA for 20 years.  Ingrid was preceded in death by her two sons, Andy and Robert.  In 2002, she married Pat, the love of her life, and moved to Helena, Montana.  She loved Pat dearly and the wedding rings he put on her finger on their wedding day.

Ingrid was the owner of Emily's Vintage Boutique in Reeder's Alley in downtown Helena.  Her and Pat owned and operated Inman's Berry Patch and received rave reviews for her scones and jams at the Farmers Market.

Ingrid worked briefly at Touchmark Senior Living, in charge of the dining room.  She worked at St Peter's Health for one in year in the ER as a Health Unit Coordinator.  Ingrid's last job was at the Real Food Market and Deli for 8 years, where she was liked by the customers and co-workers.

Ingrid had a kind heart.  She would bring meals to a terminally ill neighbor and her son.

Ingrid's hobbies included many crafts, especially her bark projects with beautiful dried flowers on them that won first place at the Last Chance Stampede Fair.  She was an avid gardener, she enjoyed walking with Pat and friends.  She loved canning, cooking, baking, and reading books.  She loved her stuffed critter collection.

Ingrid loved all animals, especially the squirrels and deer in their yard.  Two of her favorite places were Glacier National Park in Montana, and Ocean Park in Washington State.  She will be dearly missed and in our hearts forever.

Memorials may be made in Ingrid's name to Lewis and Clark Animal Shelter.  Condolences may be left for Pat the following email address:    inman1375@gmail.com

A memorial will be held for Ingrid on June 20th in her garden.
