Ieva, age 35, left her earthly body to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on May 7, 2024, after bravely fighting a lifetime of health challenges. She joins her stepfather, Richard Venema, and grandparents Emily Sussana and Valarian.

Ieva emigrated from Lithuania to the United States with her mother, Nijole Venema. She lived in California and Montana. Ieva is a baptized Christian and was known for her sweet, kind, quiet personality. The sparkle in her eyes showed her sense of humor and joy.

Ieva's favorite pastime was reading, with her favorite subjects being American History, Bible study and National Parks. Nijole and Ieva enjoyed many hours together shopping yard sales when Ieva always searched for a good book. She loved to discuss history, work in the garden and watch ballgames with her dad, Richard, and missed his friendship greatly when he passed away. Ieva enjoyed animals, especially her four Dachshund dogs and her cat. For ten years, Ieva worked at Good Samaritan Thrift Store in Helena, Montana where she appreciated the friendship of her coworkers. She will be missed very much by her family and friends.

Ieva is survived by her mother, Nijole Venema, her sisters Raca and Egle and other extended family members.

A memorial service will be held at Emmanuel Church, Helena, Montana.
