As an attorney George spent many years as an advocate for children. His compassion for their cause made him committed to helping them achieve a better life.  George's difficult upbringing gave him a special insight to the pain and confusion in the children's lives.  George is survived by Faye (his life partner), three children and two sisters.      HE WILL BE GREATLY MISSED.
