Evelyn McCarter was born in Houston, Texas, on January 23, 1941 and passed away on Sunday August 16, 2026 at 3:33am. 🕊️

Evelyn was preceded in death by her mother and father, her sisters, and her little brother, Danny, whom we know she will be happy to see again.

She is survived by her loving husband, Bobby McCarter; her children, Heather, Windy, Aaron, Angela and Buck along with many other family members and loved ones whose lives she touched.

Known affectionately as “Evie Chevy” Evelyn had a warm heart and a deep love for her family. She loved to cooking ,baking , candy making and spend quiet evenings eating dinner with her husband and laughing together. She brought warmth, love, and stability into the lives of her stepchildren and made a lasting difference in their lives.

Evelyn will be remembered for her kindness, her generosity, her sense of humor, and the love she gave so freely. She will be deeply missed and forever honored by those who were fortunate enough to know and love her.
