Eva Marie Longfellow (Red) passed away at home with her husband by her side. She was 69 years old and was born February 14, 1953.
Eva was born in Cedar Lake, Indiana. She loved singing, dancing, writing, collecting Betty Boop, pets, and her kids.
She was the state president of the VFW Ladies Auxillary, and was the president at the 802 VFW in Hammond, Indiana. She cooked at the Bingo Hall, raised money for organizations, and traveled the world.
In Rome, she was picked out of the crowd to sing opera with the professional singer! She met many famous people at the convention.
Eva is survived by her husband Larry Longfellow (Yogi), her kids Gail Stover Elliot (Jeff Elliot), Tammy Stover Yobbka, Larry Jr. Stover, Trina Kaszak DuBois (Karl DuBois), Jessica Kaszak Holubiak, and Teresa Kaszak Schaefer (Jerry Schaefer) as well as 5 half siblings, stepchildren Tobi Murry and Duane Longfellow, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Instead of flowers, donations in Eva's name can be made to St. Peter's Hospice or an organization of your choosing.
Simple Cremation Montana has assisted the family.
