Ernest John Lees (Ernie) passed away unexpectedly of natural causes, on November 7th, 2021 at the age of 61.Ernie was born on July 18th 1960 to Martha and Jack Lees in Helena Montana, and lived there all his life. He graduated from Helena High School in 1979 and worked a few odd jobs before hiring on at Budweiser where he worked for 38 years. He became known as "Bud Light Ernie".Ernie loved to spend his free time hunting and fishing. He made many special trips with great friends to the Tenderfoot, Stemple Pass, the Smith River, Alaska and his cabin. He had several secret fishing holes not shared with others!He is survived by his mother Martha, sister Melody (Jon), niece Mekaila (Hagen), and their children Avrey, Aiden and Jack, several aunts, uncles and cousins.He was a really great guy will truly be missed by all.A Celebration of Life for Ernie will be held on Saturday, November 20 at Jorgensen's in Helena at 2pm.
