Elizabeth Clare Mehl, 64, died May 18, 2022 of breast cancer in Helena, MT. Beloved and devoted wife and mother, she is deeply missed.

Beth was born September 13, 1957 to Dr. William and Dagmar McElroy in Havre, MT. She married David Mehl on July 21, 1979 and graduated from Montana State University before working as a Registered Nurse.

After retiring to Helena MT, Beth was a volunteer with many local organizations and active in her church, Our Redeemer's Lutheran. She found joy in reading, gardening, walking in nature, and singing to her Lord.

Beth is preceded in death by her father William McElroy.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years; David Mehl, her children; Peter Mehl, Rebecca Gamble (Chris), Julie Mehl, her mother; Dagmar McElroy, and her siblings; Marilyn Dubois (Dan), Kris McElroy-Weber (Dennis), Paula Kooren, Kevin McElroy (Laurie).

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 25, 11:00 AM at Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church in Helena, MT. Simple Cremation Montana has assisted the family.
