Dorothy Mae Coutu passed away peacefully at her home May 27, 2022 with the love of her life John by her side.

Dorothy was 81 and lived a full & happy life, enjoying camping, horseback riding, and spending time with her family and friends; she loved ceramics, playing pinochle & yahtzee.

Dorothy and John took an amazing trip to Alaska in their motorhome in 2012.  The couple also had a second home in AZ in which they spent their winter months being snowbirds.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, 5 siblings & her son Bryon Dale.

She is survived by her husband John of 52 years, her children David Lee Parsley, Ricky Gene Parsley, Glenda Kay Fabel (Scott), Sheryl Anne Johnson (Dave), Juanita Jo Kazmierowski, stepsons Rich Coutu (Christi), and Joe Coutu.

Dorothy was also very blessed with 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and one great great grandson arriving in July.

Mom will be immensely missed and always treasured in all our hearts forever and always.

A funeral mass will be held for Dorothy at the Cathedral of Saint Helena at noon on Tuesday, June 7th, 2022, followed by a private family interment at Resurrection Cemetery. All are welcome to join the mass to honor and remember Dorothy.
