Donna Marlene Klein (Taylor), of Helena, Montana passed away in her home on January 19, 2024, after an extended illness. She was 85 years old.

Donna was born on June 13, 1938, in Boise, Idaho to Theodore (Ted) and Lula Taylor. Ted was a boomer and followed large construction projects, ending up in the Columbia Falls area where Donna graduated from High School and married the love of her life, Gordon Allen Klein, in 1957. Her son was born in Great Falls in 1958 and her daughter was born in Whitefish in 1959. After Gordon finished his tour in the Navy, they settled in Great Falls. Gordon worked in the construction industry and Donna was a home maker, taking care of her children and home. Gordon's employer changed and this resulted in the pair moving to Helena in 1965, where they still reside. During the early years in Helena, Donna was an Avon representative with many customers, and she also worked at the ABC Kiddie shop. Donna's main goal was to raise her kids as strong independent individuals, with compassion and strong work ethics. Donna loved to dance, cross stitch, and play board / card games. She also was a great music lover, liking both old time country music and Elvis Presley. Donna was never one to complain and we don't ever remember her being down or sick until later in life. Donna was very stubborn and held strong to her beliefs. She will be remembered as an amazing woman with dedication to family and close friends.

Donna is survived by her husband, Gordon Klein of Helena, Montana; her children, Robert Allen Klein (Nancy) of Helena and Justina Diane Fyfe (William) of Great Falls; her four grandchildren; her eight great- grandchildren; and her one great-great-grandchild.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, and her brother Robert Eugene Taylor. Cremation has taken place and there will not be a memorial service, however a celebration of life will be held this summer in June. Announcements will be made to family and friends once arrangements have been completed. Interment will be at the VA Cemetery, Fort Harrison, Montana with Gordon at a future date.
