Diane "DiDi" Gates, 81, of Helena MT Passed away Sunday November 21, 2021. Born in Wellfleet, MA to Dorothy L. Gates and Leonard J. Gates on August 3rd 1940. Diane enlisted in the United States Marine Corp in 1965 to 1968, after some time Diane moved out to Helena, MT where she worked for the State for 20 years at the Department of Justice in the Fingerprint Department. After retirement she enjoyed watching and cheering on her home Baseball team the Boston Red Sox and enjoyed watching any sport but especially any home teams ! Above all her Faith in the Lord and Whole hearted Love for her Family came first. Nothing made DiDi more happy than spending time with Family sharing stories and filling the room with laughter. Diane is survived by her sister Dorothy Burgess of Englewood Florida, Brother Ronald Gates (Donna) of Wellfleet, Ma , and many Nieces and Nephew , Brian (Erin) Gates of Wellfleet MA, Rebecca (Bryan) Gantt of Vermont , Sarah (Terry) Tanner of Wellfleet MA, Rachael (Rob) Gates- Butilier of Truro MA, Jennifer (B.J.) Metcalf of Cortland NY and Sharon Gates of Helena, MT. Along with many great nieces and nephews. We Love you Didi. We would like to Thank the staff at St. Peters Hospital for caring for Diane. And a Very Special Thank you to Auntie Fee. Services will be held at later date with family in Massachusetts.
