It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Dean Kipp, 65, of Helena, MT, on January 29th, 2022 at the Benefis Health System in Great Falls. Dean was born on July 20, 1956 to Juanita Peel Kipp (Kabalin) and Lyle Lloyd Kipp in Helena, MT. He graduated from Helena High School in 1974 and went on to serve in the United States Coast Guard. Later in his life, Dean returned to school, earning a degree in respiratory therapy from Montana State University, Great Falls in 2005.Dean had a love for music and motorcycles; in the early 1990's he was a guitarist for the local band, Rage of Angels, and was a lifelong Harley Davidson enthusiast. Dean was very social, making too many friends throughout the years to count. He enjoyed attending concerts, community events, outdoor activities, and spending time with his family and friends.Dean is preceded in death by his father, Lyle Kipp, his mother, Juanita Kabalin, his step-father, Chedomer Kabalin, and his brother, James Kipp. He is survived by his sisters Debbie Kipp, Penny Kunda (Jeff), and Janet Janson (Scott), his children Cody (Christina), Justin, Donnie, Felicia, Jesse, and Connor, as well as his grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life honoring Dean will be held at the Lewis and Clark County Fairgrounds Entry Hall on Tuesday, February 8th at 2pm.
