David "Dave" Leon Cone went home to Jesus on May 12, 2023, at age 55.

Dave was born to Roy T. and Feon (Freeland) Cone on September 27, 1967, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. At age 3, his family moved to Sea Brook, Texas, a suburb of Houston.

Dave graduated from Clear Lake Highschool in 1983. While he attended some college, his interest in computers led him to become a Microsoft Certified Network Engineer. He was also a trained massage therapist.

Dave met his wife, Genice Gilreath-Cone in 2009. They married in 2010 and lived in Orange County, California. In 2022, they moved to Clancy, Montana.

Dave joins his parents, Roy and Feon in heaven. He is survived by his wife, Genice, his sister, Sharon, and his children, David Samuel, Byron, Bekah, Glenn, and Nathan.

Dave's version of Psalm 118: 24, his favorite scripture:

"This is the day that the Lord has made, I choose to rejoice and be glad in it."

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM Thursday, June 29, 2023, at Mount Helena Community Church with a reception to follow.
