David Wayne Anderson, of Helena, Montana died in his home surrounded by his wife and son on Friday, January 7, 2022. He passed away from complications of cancer. He was 66 years old.David was born on July 8, 1955 in Chicago, Illinois to Raphael "Ray" and Eleanor Anderson. He was one of four children; Armand Bloch, Christine Shapkauski, and Roy Anderson. On May 17, 1997 he married the love of his life Susan Anderson in Sacramento, California. He received a Bachelors of Science in Accounting from California State University, Sacramento. David worked 35 years as a senior Project Manager and later a Senior Environmental Estimator for Environmental Remediation and Engineering firms. He served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged. Over his life he lived in many areas including; Montana, Illinois and California. In addition to his illustrious career, David was passionate about fly fishing, camping, music, writing, reading, woodworking, gardening and spending time with his family.David is survived by his wife Susan; daughter Traci; son Aaron; daughter-in-law Jennifer; grandson Maxwell; and his siblings Christene and Armand.David is preceded in death by his parents Raphael and Eleanor Anderson and his brother Roy.Simple Cremation Montana has assisted the family.
