Colleen M. Stephenson (Vetsch) passed away peacefully at her home at Beehive Assisted Living in Helena on Sunday, October 11, at the age of 76.

She shared a happy life with her beloved husband, Bill, who remained by her side until his passing on May 23, 2025. Colleen enjoyed her career with the Montana Department of Transportation, but treasured retirement even more. Some of her greatest joys came from her two Yorkies, Riley and Wylie, whose loving companionship brightened her days.

Colleen’s family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff and residents of Beehive. They were more than friends to her—they became family, and their kindness and companionship meant so much.

In keeping with Colleen’s final wishes, no services will be held.
