Charleen Rae Spalding of Helena, Mt. She died at home with family December 31, 2025. She was born on July 18. 1940 in Helena.

After retirement she did endless research on the Broadwater, Jefferson, and L&C county cemeteries. Produced a book on Benton Ave cemetery and did CDs on all three counties

She was called the “The Grave Yard Detective” and was awarded the Herb Jacobson Memorial Lifetime Achievement Award.

She will be forever missed.
