Age 74 of Clancy, MT passed away December 10th 2020 in her home surrounded by love from her husband and daughter. She had fought a long battle with Cancer.Becky was born in Gary, IN, on October 1, 1946. She was the daughter of Ellen (Philbrick) Beeman of Fort Farefield, ME, and Chandler Beeman of Saint Albans VT. The family moved to Springfield MA when she was quite young, and Becky split her time between Springfield and Fort Fairfield on her grandparents beloved farm. She graduated from Springfield Technical High School in 1964. Becky had a degree in counseling and was a certified mediator.Becky began her career in helping others in 1982.She held various counseling positions in MD, PA, and MA. She retired in 2004 from Hamden County Sheriff Department Correctional Facility, Springfield, MA. This retirement allowed her to marry the love of her life Randy Sheffer, on July, 4th 2004, in Lubec, ME. Becky loved cross country trips on the back of her husband's Indian motorcycle and traveling with him. She was an outdoor enthusiast that enjoyed hiking, gardening, kayaking, rappelling, and cross country skiing. Becky had a passion for the New England Patriots, sunshine, antiques, and refinishing them. She co-owned two antique stores during her time in PA. Becky had a huge heart,and was loved by many friends, and family. Her passion and love for all people made a lasting impression on all who knew her.She was preceded in death by her sister Cheryl, brother Brent, father Chandler, and mother Ellen. She leaves behind her loving husband Randy of Clancy, MT her son Thomas "Matthew" Collins and companion of Charleston, SC , daughter Tanya and son in law Aaron Hartman of Alexandria, PA and stepdaughter Lacee and husband Christopher Moll of San Jose,CA.Her sense of fun and adventure will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Makenna and Mazzy Hartman, Kyla Collins, and Adeline, Royal, Laurel, and Leighton Moll.She also leaves behind brother Greg and wife Melissa Beeman of Fairfax VT, Scott and wife Sue Beeman of Wilbraham, MA Todd Beeman of Springfield, MA, and sister in law Dawn ofDavis of Westfield, MA. Becky has numerous nieces and nephews and created a special bond with each of them.A celebration of Becky's life will be held at a later date.
