Barbara Diane Perkins passed away on September 24, 2026, at the age of 78.

Barbara was born on July 18, 1948, in Passaic, New Jersey, to Mildred and Clifton Eastwood. One of four children, Barbara was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend.

Barbara found great joy in her family, her faith, and the things that made life a little more fun. One of her very favorite things in the world was going on a cruise. She loved the adventure, the time away, and, of course, a good chocolate martini.

Her faith was an important part of her life and a source of strength and comfort. She treasured the fellowship and friendships she found through Last Chance Chapel.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Mildred and Clifford Eastwood; her sister, Carolyn Eastwood; and her daughter, Jennifer Collins.

She is survived by her son, Richard (Casey); her brothers, Fred (Mary) and Ken (Sue); her grandchildren, BriAnna (Jason Vesco), Ashley Bruton (Ryan), Ethan Benson, Jax, and Gabriella Collins; and her great-grandchildren, Benson, Ryley, Vaughn, and Reeve. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held in the spring, allowing those who loved her across the miles time to make plans to attend and gather in her memory. Details will be shared when arrangements are finalized.
