Audrey Elenor Walkman passed away January 1st, 2022 in her home in East Helena, MT at the age of 95.Audrey was born on June 8, 1926 in Hastings, MN to Ernest and Myrtle Krengle. Where she lived with her two brothers Robert and William Krengle and her sister Evelyn Dondajewski.Audrey graduated Paris Gibson Highschool. She married Oscar Walkman on April 6, 1947 in Great falls, MT.Audrey is survived by her Daughter Karla Walkman, her three granddaughters Audra, Alisia, Aurora Landis and her 7 great grandchildren.Audrey is preceded in death by her parents; Ernest and Myrtle Krengle, her brothers; Robert, William Krengle and her sister; Evelyn Dondajewski. She is preceded in death by her Husband; Oscar Walkman, her son; Karl WalkmanAudrey was known by many in the community in her early years, working as a local waitress. She was an honest, hard working woman with a great sense of humor. She loved talking to people and listening to their stories which made her memorable to many she met. With the experiences and long life she lived she always had a good story to tell.After she retired as a waitress she made magic in the kitchen at home, she was an excellent cook, and brought comfort and love to her family and her home. She always gave the best hugs and had a huge heart, and was always there for all of us.She is someone who will always be a special part in the hearts and memories of all who knew her. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, neighbor, friend she was a woman who had a great passion for helping others and known by many in her community for her kindness and the compassion she showed to others. Above all she is and always will be the best grandmother ever. Audrey was known for compassion, kindness, and her big heart. The funeral is scheduled for 2:00 P.M. on February 12th at Helena First church. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Audrey's life.
