Allice Marlene Haley passed away on April 4, 2021 early on Easter morning at her home in Townsend Mt. She was born on May 5 1938 in Roundup, MT to Ben and Margaret Rux. Her parents bought the Checkerboard Inn in 1946. She grew up at Checkerboard. She married Bob Haley on Sept 3, 1955. She was a great cook. She liked to knit and crochet, and made many things we all will treasure. Most of all she loved being around her family. She was the best mom we could have asked for. We will miss her very much. Marlene was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bob, sons, Robbie and Tim Haley, and daughter Lisa Young. She is survived by her sister Marylou Wetterling, Son Darrell Haley, daughters Laurie Haley, Denise Wedgwood and adopted daughter Joan Payne, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. We would like to thank our sister Laurie for all of the loving hard work she did to help our mother during her illness.A private family gathering will take place this summer.
